Luge SchoolPosted 9:28 AMI know what you're thinking. You're a geek like me, and you want to get into street luge. Well, you're in luck - the guys at WildFro have access to a 2.5 mile-long road in a remote area near Gilroy, and they close it off to run street luge lessons. In addition to luge lessons, they loan you one of their luges, leathers, and safety gear. You start at 25 MPH, and they'll work you up to 70+. More info (and mid-downhill pics) on their sign-up page.
Got ASP.NET Perf Issues?Posted 9:18 AMSo we're chasing down some ASP.NET perf issues (erratic response times, deadlocks during thread contention, general feelings of malaise). I may be the last ASP.NET guy to know about this, but there's a hotfix rollup that fixes several problems we're having. If you're running ASP.NET 1.1, check out this KB article.
